Uralsk Airport is the international airport of Kazakhstan, located in the city of Uralsk. The airport is capable of receiving many types of aircraft, including helicopters. Today it is not experiencing its best years, requires serious repairs and today all measures are taken to improve the condition of the runways and the building itself.
The airport carries out air transportation both to neighboring countries and flights within the republic. On account of the airport Uralsk listed emergency landings of several aircraft, the weight of which, it would seem, exceeds the capabilities of the airfield runway. The airport saved many lives in 2006 and 2009. Traditionally, in the airport building you can find newsstands and places where you can have a snack before departure.
It is noteworthy that at the airport of the city of Uralsk there is a flight technical school of civil aviation. During the academic year, classes on retraining of navigators in pilots are held here, as well as training of personnel for airport services.
