Fountain of the Zodiac

In the center of Ust-Kamenogorsk on the square, there is an unusual amazing fountain, impressive in its originality and known throughout Kazakhstan. The fountain is crowned with twelve figures of animals. Sculptures of animals depict symbolic signs of the zodiac. Around the fountain frolic children and rest townspeople and guests of the city. Evening coolness, a halo of splashes, many benches around create an atmosphere for a pleasant rest on warm summer evenings.

The fountain stands near the central mosque of Ust-Kamenogorsk on Republic Square.
