Bishkek

Arabel Plateau

Description:

There is a valley on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, in the depths of the Jety-Oguz gorge, near the Kumtor gold mine. The way to the valley is not close, but it is full of the most striking views of pristine nature. The entire journey from Bishkek to Arabel will take us about 6-7 hours.

On the route we will see: endless fields extending to the mountain ranges of the Tien Shan, the mountain range of the mountains of Kazakhstan, the majestic Boom Gorge and, of course, the pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Lake Issyk-Kul and its southern shore with untouched and pristine nature. On the route, we will make stops to slightly warm up and catch stunning footage. The end point of our route is the Arabel Plateau, to which we can climb by car along the bulk mountain serpentine. Do not worry, the road is safe, because there is a gold mine on the plateau, the road on which was made with the expectation of greater permeability of heavy vehicles at any time of the year.

In the valley we will spend about an hour, during which time you can make a small trekking or organize a small picnic with mountain tea and livers, which we have prepared specifically for you.

If desired and in the case of “summer weather”, we will make for you a photo or video shooting from a drone against the background of fantastic landscapes. The route also includes stops for lunch and dinner in the local cuisine cafe along the way, where you can taste their nomad cuisine or classic European dishes.
