Jety-Oguz Gorge
Description:
Jety-Oguz in translation means “Seven Bulls”. This gorge is one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan.
Seven blood-red bulls are weathered cliffs, changing their appearance every year. Today there are not seven of them, but many more - some tourists number ten or even eleven mighty, burning giants in the sun. This amazing beauty of the rock ensemble is not the only one in these places.
Another notable rock is the famous Broken Heart, a place of real pilgrimage for lovers. Legends say that this split red rock is the heart of an unhappy girl who broke with grief. The girl could not survive the death of two young men, who could not share her, and died in battle with each other.
