Burana Tower and Kegetin Gorge
Description:
The first stage of our tour is a trip from Bishkek, in my car, towards the city. Tokmak, next to which there is an ancient settlement Balasagun, on the site of which is now a cultural and historical complex with a tower-minaret "Burana". The tower is one of the oldest minarets in Central Asia. We will explore the museum, walk through the “garden of stones” and climb the tower itself, which offers stunning views of the expanses and mountain ranges.
Next, you will have a trip along the Kegety gorge to the mountain waterfall. This is perhaps the most beautiful gorge of the mountain system of the Kyrgyz ridge. The gorge has its charm and splendor at any time of the year. In winter, the peaks of the ridge, the waterfall hanging over the gorge and the crystal-turquoise riverbed are dried up with snow. In summer, the gorge is full of all shades of greenery, the mountain river acquires double strength, and the waterfall strikes with grandeur and power.
This tour is suitable for absolutely everyone. Most of the way we will overcome by car. The rest, depending on your desires, the physical activity required and the time of year, we can walk. Regardless of the options, our trip will be interrupted by small stops, where you can breathe the cleanest mountain air and take magnificent photos.
