St. Joseph’s Church, built in the 1960s, is one of Hong Kong’s most visited Catholic churches. It is located in the city center, opposite the American Consulate.
The building of the temple of heavenly color, made in a modern style, has cubic shapes and is decorated with high white columns in the form of arches and bas-reliefs of saints. Since the walls of the temple have large windows in the form of crosses and arches, the inside of the temple is quite light.
The church is especially popular among the local Filipino population, who come here on Sundays for Tagalog Masses. On weekdays here you can hear masses held in English and Spanish.
