The Tai Tam Valley is a picturesque valley with a rich animal world. The Tai Tam Valley is located in a park of the same name. Tai Tam is the pearl of the park and the natural paradise of Hong Kong. The diversity of flora and fauna of the valley is not equal. It is surrounded by peaks of 400-meter height. On the slopes of the valley grow amazing beauty shrubs and flowers.
In the spring, all this turns into a flowering carpet with various shades. In the valley of Tai-Tam numerous streams, waterfalls and paths. From here, a fantastic view of the emerald-green waters of the Tai Tam reservoir opens. It was the reservoir that gave the name to the park and valley. In translation, Tai means “Big Water”. In the valley you can find a leopard, muntjac, small animals, birds and insects. It is nice to walk around the valley and admire all the variety of natural resources.
