Ancient Pat Hoon Temple

Kam Tin, western part of Sheng Tsun Park, Hong Kong, China

Description:

The ancient temple of Pat Hoon is located on the territory of Shen Tsung Park, it was built during the Qing dynasty.

Pat Hoon faces the sea, on the other side it is supported by a mountain. It was built more than 200 years ago and has undergone reconstruction more than once. But to this day, we managed to preserve its bright and original interior. As well as real relics - a bell cast in 1866 and a smoker, dated 1897. However, the outside of the temple looks quite modest, to say the least.

In the temple of Pat Hoon worship several deities. And since ancient times, it is a place where all important events in the life of citizens are celebrated.
