Fang Loi Leung Yen Temple

1 Pun Shan Chau Road, Seung WUn Yiu, Tai Po, Hong Kong, China

Description:

Fang Loi Leung Yen Temple is one of the largest Taoist temples in Hong Kong.

The temple was built in the middle of the XX century and is an example of such a harmonious neighborhood with the environment that it is not so easy to isolate from space. A steep red staircase leads to the temple. And all it is painted in bright colors, which, however, little stands out against the background of lush vegetation. In addition to bright colors, the building is decorated in a traditional Chinese style.

The main temple is dedicated to the god Lu Tzu, but in general this place is considered by people who share the values of Taoism. It is especially picturesque and interesting here during Taoist festivals, when many people gather at the temple.
