It was built in the area at a time when Sai Kung was still a fishing village, about 700 years ago. In the twentieth century, jy was restored. This temple is often called the “big temple” and, indeed, it is considered one of the main temples dedicated to the goddess Tin Hau.

Strict but very beautiful temple consists of three parts with one entrance. The main hall is dedicated to the goddess Tin Hau.

During the celebration of the goddess’s birthday, to which a special festival is dedicated, original ceremonies with colorful processions are arranged here, which is truly authentic and unusual.
