Highcliff skyscraper
Highcliff, 41D Stubbs Rd, Happy Valley, Hong Kong
Description:
Even though this skyscraper is only 106th in the world in height, it is called one of the thinnest buildings, which is surprising for its height. Due to this and the large number of summer typhoons, a passive damper was installed on its top. This is new in projects of this scale.
Entering the building, on the right you will see a four-story fresco. The remaining walls are completely made of glass, so standing in each flight of stairs, you can admire an amazing view of the city.
Next to the Highcliff is another skyscraper, The Summit. Visually, and from a great distance, these high-rise buildings resemble Chinese sticks.
