About the company:

The Wang Chai Museum literally means “Wang Chai’s livelihood gathering place”. In fact, it is a place where the culture and historical heritage of Wang Chai is promoted through exhibitions and other cultural events.

Historically, Wang Chai is one of the earliest settlements in what is now Hong Kong. Now this area has preserved a rich heritage that tells about past eras. The museum’s activities also serve to preserve and promote this heritage. All year round, it hosts a variety of cultural events that allow you to learn more about the culture, customs, lifestyle of Wang Chai, just feel his living matter of modern life. This creates a basis for strengthening cultural identity. This is the first museum in Hong Kong.

Geographically, it is located on the ground floor of the so-called Blue House, which is listed as a UNESCO protected site as a sample of the old architecture of Hong Kong.
