Yingzhou Ecological Park

No.138 Xiaozhou East Road, Xiaozhou Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, China

Description:

Yingzhou Ecological Park is a kind of natural oasis in Shiazhou village, which combines anthropogenic and natural landscape.

This ecological park is considered to be the largest agricultural plantation in Guangzhou. Its area covers approximately 142 hectares. On this territory there are fields, a river with ancient picturesque bridges and gardens with an abundance of fruit trees. Here grow such exotics as lychees, carambols, guava, papaya, lingans and others.

The most popular tourist activities (and since 2000 the park has become a recreational area) are special excursions, including tasting tea and harvested fruits, fishing for crabs in the local river and entertainment with games and barbecue. The park fully gives you the opportunity to enjoy the rural flavor, spectacular landscapes and healthy food. However, in addition to recreation, the ecological park is a serious base for scientific research.
