Lake Dongshan Park

Dongshan Lake Park is one of the largest landscape recreation parks in Guangzhou with a dominant in the form of an artificial reservoir.

The park was opened to visitors in 1958. Its main decoration is an artificial lake with an area of almost 21 hectares. The purest water is visible to the bottom, the coastline has a bizarre shape, forming 5 peninsulas. Several islands together with bridges form a harmonious and picturesque line.

The land part of the park is also very beautiful. The shrubs, clearings, flower beds scattered throughout the park are charming. There is plenty of fun in the park as well. In addition to the numerous walkways and boat station there is a dance floor, billiard and so on.
