Guangzhou Sculpture Park

Guo Shan Lu, Yue Xiu Qu, Guangzhou, China

Description:

Built in 1996, the Guangzhou Sculpture Park displays more than a hundred sculptures and monuments, including ancient and modern works of art. It is located near Siabei Metro Station.

The territory of the park, whose construction was aimed at protecting the nature of the city, reaches more than 46 hectares. It is divided into four zones, each of which is dedicated to a specific topic: the history of the city, the history of China, the protection of nature and modern sculpture.

Large monuments are located right on the street, and special exhibition pavilions have been created for small sculptures, where you can often see quite unusual exhibits in the form of various parts of the human body. This place will especially appeal to connoisseurs of surrealism and modern art.
