Tianhe Sports Stadium was built in 1987 in Guangzhou, China’s Guangdong Province. It was built to host the final of the first FIFA Women's World Cup in 1991. Today, Tianhe Stadium is used for football matches.
The arena is the home stadium for the Chinese Super League team Guangzhou Evergrand. The stadium can simultaneously accommodate sixty thousand spectators. In 2010, the stadium hosted the final of the Asian Football Games, as well as matches of the AFC Champions League.
