South China University of Technology is considered one of the leading Chinese universities. It is an international training institute that operates under the direct supervision of the country’s Ministry of Education, accepting foreign students as part of cultural and educational exchanges between China and other countries. The university, established in 1952, is one of the first multidisciplinary universities in the country.
South China University of Technology has 23 faculties and the following study programs: engineering sciences, business management, economic sciences, humanities, law, biomedical sciences and art and design.
The university consists of two campuses located in the city of Guangzhou. The northern campus is located in the Tianhe district, and in architectural terms is a combination of traditional and modern styles. The southern campus is located in the Panyu district, and is made entirely in modern architectural and landscape design.
