West Lake (Lake Sihy)
Description:
The pearl of Hangzhou is Lake Sihu or West Lake. According to legend, it was formed from pearls that fell from the sky. This picturesque place is a water surface with an area of almost 6 thousand square kilometers. The lake is surrounded by forests and hills.
Along the coast rise pagodas, pavilions and other architectural structures. I reflect in the water, they create an incredibly beautiful sight. Picturesque places have very poetic names, such as “Autumn Moon over the lake”, “Hill of Solitude” or “Goldfish in Flower Harbor”.
There are several islands in the center of the lake. The landscapes of the island are variable - depending on the time of day, season, weather and even the position of passing boats.
