Description:
Tiananmen Square is one of the largest areas in the world - 440,000 m2. You will see the National Heroes Monument and Mao Zedong Mausoleum. And you will find out what Tiananmen is similar to Red Square in Moscow.
Jingshan Jingshan Park, formerly the emperor's garden, consists of five hills, each with a Chinese-style palace. I will tell you from where you can see in the distance the Forbidden City in the south, the Olympic Park in the north, Old Beijing in the west and the modern high-rise building in the east.
Temple of Heaven. You will learn how this place is connected to the rituals of sacrifice and who or what, according to the ancient Chinese, influenced their welfare. The complex includes several structures, in 1998 it was included in the UNESCO list.
China is the birthplace of tea. We will visit a specialty store, where you will visit an authentic tea ceremony. You will understand the difference in the varieties of tea and, if desired, buy your favorite products. If you wish, we will also visit a restaurant serving traditional Beijing duck.
