Tour of Beijing in 3 days

Day one: We meet and go on a tour of the center of Beijing. Walk through one of the largest squares in the world Tiananmen. Its name translates as “the square of heavenly tranquility”, and at the same time it could fit a million people! It hosts all cultural events, locals come here on weekends and a daily ritual of raising the flag. You will see Mao Mausoleum and other architectural and historical monuments of national importance.

Then we will visit the Forbidden City of Gugong, a medieval palace complex that served until the beginning of the last century as the main residence of Chinese emperors, where ordinary people did not have access. After lunch we will visit the Temple of Heaven in 1420. Consider the blue sky roof, supported by pillars, and a unique altar of marble slabs, the number of which is a multiple of 9 - a number endowed with the highest power in Chinese mythology.

Please note: if the tour to the Forbidden City does not take place due to lack of tickets, the organizer has the right to cancel it and return the cost of entrance tickets to tourists: 60 yuan from April 1 to October 31; 40 yuan from November 1 to March 31. As compensation, we will take a free tour to Jingshan Park, where we climb to the top of the mountain and admire the Forbidden City from there.

After lunch (optional) excursion to the Temple of Heaven (1420) - a former cult ensemble of sacrifice to God of heaven

Built in the Ming era, the temple of the sky, whose name in Chinese sounds like Tiantan, is one of the largest complexes in China and one of the best examples of architectural harmony and symbolism inherent in local cult ensembles. In this temple, emperors made sacrifices and prayed to heaven and their ancestors on the winter solstice. As a son of heaven, the emperor could intercede before the gods for his people. Closed to the common people during the Ming and Qing eras, the temple of the sky stands in a large beautiful park where practitioners of Taijiquan gather in the mornings these days.

We walk through the temple of the sky, enjoying the magnificent building, we can also understand its ancient legend “the sky is round, and the earth is square”.

After a long walk, you will have a tea ceremony. You will relax, taste different varieties and learn interesting facts about our tea culture.

Day two: Today we will go to a large-scale structure, a symbol of the power of the country - the Great Wall of China, which runs over deserts, mountains and fields and stretches for tens of kilometers from east to west, the construction of which began more than 2000 years ago. You have two options to hit the wall. The first is walking, but it's long and hard. The second is on the funicular for a fee. Saving time on the rise, you take a longer walk on the wall. On the way to visit the jade factory, in the city center to visit the center of Chinese medicine, learn the culture of Chinese medicine and enjoy foot massage (tip 20-30 yuan)

Third day: Yunhegong Monastery and Iheyuan Park

On this day we will visit one of the most beautiful Buddhist monasteries of the country - Yunhegong. You will see a multimeter statue of Buddha, walk through the halls, and you can feel the atmosphere of peace and tranquility reigning here.

After lunch, we will walk through the park of the Iheyuan Summer Palace. You will admire the lake with bridges thrown over it with sculptures and reliefs, the mountain of Longevity, the top of which is decorated with the temple, and the palace ensemble, including more than 3000 buildings.
