Karst Cave of Yinhu Silver Fox
Xiayingshui Village, Fozizhuang Country, Fangshan District, Beijing, China
Description:
The Yinhu Karst Cave (or, as it is also called, the Silver Fox Cave) is a multi-tiered cave with an underground river and a total length of passages of about five and a half kilometers, of which about three kilometers are available for visiting.
The cave got its name thanks to the world’s only snow-white crystals of calcite, which cover two-meter stalactites and resemble the hair of a silver fox. In total, there are about ninety natural attractions in the cave.
On the lower tier of the cave at a depth of about 100 meters, an underground river flows, the water of which is highly mineralized and contains many useful trace elements.
