Mulberry trees were grown in the city during the Eastern Han Dynasty, and this was 2,000 years ago. Consequently, there are 446 trees with a rich history in the garden. The diameter of the trunk of the oldest tree is 1 meter, and the diameter of the crown is 25 meters. This tree annually produces 400 - 500 kilograms of mulberry.
The garden covers an area of 23.3 square meters. 35,000 trees have been planted relatively recently. The garden is located in a flat area near the Wuding River, where the sands have good ventilation, which is favorable for the growth of mulberry trees.
Every year during the harvest of mulberry in the garden is a mass festival.
