Imperial Garden

Description:

In the northernmost part of the Forbidden City is the Yuhua Yuan Imperial Garden. The garden is small but very picturesque. There are many small pavilions and gazebos, stone pools and bizarre stones. Emperors usually rested here, wrote poems, empress-mothers arranged watches for future concubines, took classes with teachers in various languages and sciences.
