The greenhouse of the Beijing Botanical Garden is located in the center of the garden. It is the largest greenhouse in Asia.
The huge glass building of the greenhouse resembles a real crystal palace.
It contains more than a thousand six hundred tropical and subtropical plants, including aquatic plants. They are kept in a separate room. Many of the plants of the greenhouse of the Beijing Botanical Garden are rare in nature and listed in the Red Book.
