Lianhuachi Park

No. 48 Guangwailianhuachi Road, Fengtai District, Beijing, China

Description:

Lianhuachi Park is located in close proximity to Beijing West Railway Station. Its total area is 44.6 hectares.

The park is a classic Chinese garden set around a historic Lotus pond. The pond is over 3,000 years old. On both sides of the pond are planted Chinese pine trees, acacia, cedars and magnolias. Lots of flower beds are broken. But the most stunning landscape is the view of 80,000 flowering lotuses on the pond.

Near the pond there is a summer theater and musical fountains on both sides of it. The best time to visit Lianhuachi Park is, of course, summer, when lotuses bloom on the pond.
