Beijing Peace Park

In the Peace Park, on an area of several hectares, all the most famous architectural masterpieces of the planet are presented. The Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge, Grand Canyon and Zulu Village, Easter Island, Stonehenge, St. Peter’s Cathedral in the Vatican, the Athenian Acropolis, the Egyptian pyramids, the Palace of the Emperor of Thailand, the Taj Mahal, the Leaning Tower, the White House and the Capitol, the Statue of Liberty, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Sydney Opera is far from a complete list of what can be seen in the park.

There is also the mythical Trojan Horse and the lost Lighthouse of Alexandria. China itself in the park is represented by the Great Wall and Suzhou Gardens. A copy of Red Square is dedicated to Russia.

Interestingly, most of the buildings in the Peace Park are made on a scale of 1:8, that is, eight times smaller than the originals. The only exceptions are very large objects, such as the Egyptian pyramids, which are made on a smaller scale.

Now Peace Park is a favorite holiday destination for Beijing residents and tourists. National holidays of different peoples of the world are regularly held here.
