Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve is located in the eastern suburbs of Beijing. Its total area is 1900 hectares. The reserve has 153 species of birds, including 19 rare protected species. The reserve also serves as a transit point for many endangered species of birds.
The nature reserve is also rich in flora. On its territory there are 292 species of wild plants. The cane thickets reach a height of up to two meters, and on a windy day, visitors to the reserve can watch this green sea wobble.
On the territory of the reserve are guided tours on small slow-moving ships.
