Beijing TV Tower, the tallest building of the city, is considered one of the tallest TV towers in the world. The height of the tower with an antenna reaches 405 meters. The tower was built by the Ministry of Radio and Television of China in 1992 and is now home to China Central Television.
At an altitude of 238 meters there is an observation deck and a revolving restaurant, which can be reached by high-speed elevator. Every year there are 1484 steps to the observation deck. The most outstanding part of the structure are, of course, the spherical parts of the tower at an altitude of 221 and 238 meters, painted in yellow and blue. The foot of the Beijing TV Tower is decorated with traditional Chinese golden statues of dragons.
At night, the Beijing TV Tower is spectacularly illuminated, and the entire structure can simultaneously become completely yellow, blue, green. It's a very beautiful sight.
