China Railway Museum

The China Railway Museum is a huge hangar with many old locomotives. It is located on the outskirts of Beijing. The museum was built in 2003. The exhibition area of the museum is sixteen and a half thousand square meters. In the museum you can see various real old locomotives, diesel locomotives and electric locomotives with wagons. Some of them allow visitors to climb. The museum has a branch located in the building of the former East Railway Station. There are models of railways and rolling stock and numerous documents related to the history of the development of the Chinese railway.
