Beijing East Station

Description:

Opened in 1938, East Beijing Railway Station is largely a freight station and plays an important role in passenger transportation.

From the station there are trains in the direction of three lines - Jingbao, Jingcheng and Jingqin on the directions Beijing-Baotou, Beijing-Chende and Beijing-Shaanxi Province. You can get to the station only by bus, as there is no metro station near the station.

Unlike other stations, the information board here is not inside, but installed at the entrance to the station. Before entering the station, you need to pass things through the scanner, otherwise you will not be allowed. If you are waiting for a meeting, remember that without a ticket to the platform, entry is prohibited, so you will either have to leave the protected area yourself, or, if you are escorted, you can buy a special ticket for the accompanying persons.
