Nanxiang Tower

Nanxiang Tower is a historic brick building of Jiading District. The pagoda has more than a thousand years of history. It was built during the Song Dynasty at the gate of the white temple of Nanxiang, which in 1731 was damaged by fire.

In 1985, a large-scale restoration of the tower was carried out, and the pagoda was restored to its original appearance. The height of the brick pagoda is 11 meters. The shape of the tower is a regular octagon. Gray brick and wood were used as building materials.
