Fudan University

Fudan University is one of the oldest higher education institutions in China. Founded in 1905 as a public school, it has become one of the most prestigious universities. Today, Fudan University continues to occupy a leading position and is famous throughout the world for its high level of teaching and quality of education.

In the 50s, Fudan University began accepting foreign students, it was one of the first Chinese universities to develop international relations. Since then, more than 10 thousand students from around the world have been trained here in various programs. Among the university graduates, many received academic degrees of bachelor, master or doctor. More than 2,800 students from abroad are trained at Fudan University, and 1,700 foreigners annually attend short-term Chinese courses.

The high-rise building of the University is among the attractions of Shanghai. Its height is more than 140 meters. It is the tallest university building in China.
