Kezhi Garden

Long Xing Lu, Qing Pu Qu, Shanghai, China

Description:

Kezhi Garden is the largest garden in the Zhujiajiao area. Its creation took more than 15 years. It combines the basic design of traditional Chinese gardens and elements of Western architecture.

Currently, there are not many of the original buildings left in this garden, many of which were destroyed during the Japanese occupation in World War II.

The name Kezhi means comprehensive education. This is due to the fact that in the 50s of the last century the garden was used as a school.

In the warm season every Friday, Saturday and Sunday I arrange theatrical and opera performances in the open air.
