People's Square in Shanghai

People's Square in Shanghai is the main square of the city.

People’s Square in Shanghai is located in the heart of this huge metropolis. It was founded in 1949, previously on this site was the racetrack.

On the square is the building of the municipal government of Shanghai, and around it grow carefully maintained trees and lawns, formed a small lake and a garden of stones.

In this place, many plum trees are planted, which bloom magnificently in the spring and smell.

There is a pedestrian area where benches and flower beds are installed.

On the People's Square you can walk, relax and feed the birds, which are inhabited by countless numbers.
