Shimao International Plaza is one of the tallest buildings in China. Its height is more than 333 meters, or 1,094 feet. This is a picturesque 60-storey building located in the heart of Shanghai.
Construction of the building began in 2001 and was completed five years later. The project was developed jointly by Chinese and foreign designers. Skyscraper "Shimao International Plaza" is crowned with two spires, creating an additional effect of "slimness". Most of the building is occupied by a luxurious five-star hotel. It is located on 48 floors and provides its visitors with more than 700 comfortable rooms. In addition, the skyscraper building also houses a large shopping center and several entertainment clubs.
