Nanjing Street

Nanjing Road is one of the busiest shopping streets in the world. It is completely pedestrian and at any time of the day is filled with a huge number of Chinese and visiting tourists. On Nanjing Road there are thousands of fashion boutiques, shops, restaurants and eateries. On the street wanders a lot of traders, now and then offering goods at low prices to random passers-by.

Nanjing Road should be visited at least twice - in the afternoon and late evening. In daylight, life here is more even - people wander along the windows, go shopping, dine in restaurants. With the onset of darkness, everything changes - there is an idle crowd, thousands of neon lights are lit, advertising signs, huge displays, and everything is filled with the music of street musicians.
