Valledupar Airport
Description:
Valdupar (airport) is designed not only for ordinary air transportation, but also for units of the Air Force and the National Police of Colombia. Located in the green area of the suburbs.
The full name of the airport is Alfonso Lopez Pumarejo, it was received in honor of the Colombian president of the last century. Under his rule, education in secondary schools became free and the working day was limited to 8 hours.
Since December 2010, Alfonso López Pumarejo Airport has been managed by Aeropuertos del Oriente S.A.S. under a 20-year concession agreement.
