Description:
As part of the project to reconstruct the center of Medellin in Cisneros Square, a unique Park of Light was built in 2005.
The park was designed by architect Juan Manuel Pel ez.
It is an area in which at a certain distance from each other installed 300 lighting poles height of 18 meters each, 170 lights and 2100 reflectors of light. Lanterns illuminate the square according to the phases of the moon.
Naturally, it is best to admire the park after sunset, when the lighting is turned on.
During the day in the area of the park briskly boils street trade in food and various trifles.
