Carnival Museum

About the company:

The Carnival Museum, located in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, opened in 1983. It occupies a building built in the classical Cuban style of wood in the late XVIII century. The one-storey building stands on a high foundation and is decorated with a balcony-gallery. Before the museum, various administrative institutions and a private school were located here.

The house passed into the care of carnival committees in 1981, which two years later in seven rooms opened expositions dedicated to the carnival held annually in the city with a three-century history. Here you can see musical instruments, photos of carnival costumes and posters from carnivals.
