Sightseeing tour of Riga by bus
Description:
From the left bank of the Daugava, we will look at the classic panorama of the Old Town, which is under the protection of UNESCO. The route includes: the Monument to the Liberators of Riga, the wooden architecture of Kipsala, the Riga Boulevard Ring (one of the oldest in Europe), the Khrybokdestvensky Cathedral, the Freedom Monument - saved from destruction by Vera Mukhina, the Latvian Opera, the Central Market (the largest covered market in northern Europe, located in the former hangars for zeppelins).
At your request, we will climb to the observation deck of the Academy of Sciences (built in 1958 in the style of Stalin’s Empire). The route includes a walk through the streets with exclusive Art Nouveau houses. I will introduce you to the history of Riga and answer your questions.
