Riga by car

Riga doesn’t end in the familiar Old Town, and there’s plenty to see outside the centre. What information can be obtained from various sources about the sights of Riga and what do Riga residents know about their city?

To do this, I offer my car and walking tour. We're leaving the Strelkov Square and heading our way. Part of the Old Town, the Central Market, the Academy of Sciences, the promenade and the bridges of Daugava, the right bank of the river - Agenskalns, the oldest neighborhood on the left bank of Riga, the quarter of Kalciema, where wooden historical buildings have been restored . . We stop and see the island of Kipsala, one of the five large islands located on the Daugava in the city of Riga. But this is not the end of our trip – we move again Daugava and move through the beautiful streets of Jugendstil or Art Nouveau. After that, turning near the church of Old Gertrude, in which one of the episodes of 17 moments of spring was also filmed, we return to the center along the longest highway of the city - Freedom Street.

The tour will be of interest to any age group, up to 4 people (possibly more), travel by car and on foot, paid locally in cash (receipt), order through contacts with the guide on the site.
