Jurmala is an amber necklace of Latvia.

The resort city of Jurmala includes 15 villages, each of which is a separate bead in a necklace. Each village is interesting in its own way and each has its own story. Almost all of these villages you will visit during the tour. We will get acquainted with the sights of the central part of Jurmala. In Kemeri, we will visit the resort park, where recently the restoration of the park was carried out and an observation deck was opened, and a walk along the trail of the Great Kemer swamp is like a visit to another planet.

We will stop at the parking lot in Mayori and make a small walking tour, go to the shore of the Gulf of Riga, walk to the Dzintar Concert Hall and then along Turaides Street we will reach the Church of the Kazan Mother of God, walk along the main street Yomas and return to the car. The next way is Kemeri. On the way, in the village of Dubulty, you will see the house where the summer residence of the President of Latvia is located, and a little further - a snow-white monument to the poet Aspasia, who was the wife and faithful locustress of the Latvian poet Janis Rainis. The first residence of Rainis and Aspasia was in Pumpuri. The next village is Mellugi, where in 1827 Baron Karl von Firsk built a wooden structure Kurhaus "Karlsbad" to attract tourists. But Asari was known for its large strawberry plantations, which before the First World War were brought not only to Riga, but also to St. Petersburg.
