Alberta Street was founded in honor of the 700th anniversary of the city and named after the founder of Riga Albert von Buxhowden. Alberta Street was built in 2 years, is considered the pearl of the Art Nouveau. 8 houses are recognized as architectural monuments. Most of the houses on Alberta Street were designed by Mikhail Eisenstein.
