About the company:
Lithuanian Museum of Folk Life was founded in 1966. There is an open-air museum in a picturesque place near the Kaunas Sea and the Praven River, in Rumsishkes. The museum is a complex of residential buildings, outbuildings and folk technical monuments from all ethnographic regions of Lithuania.
The length of the museum area is six kilometers. The buildings are grouped in such a way that you can trace how people lived centuries ago. Some of the expositions are active, they clearly show how potters, weavers and carpenters work. Visitors will be invited to taste national dishes, as well as ride in ancient wagons and buckets across the expanses of the museum land.
