Rafting along the Padas River
Description:
The Padas River is located in the depths of the southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu, which can only be reached by train (used in Borneo since the late 19th century). In fact, this trip will give you two advantages:
Rafting on the river Class III - IV
2) A unique trip on an old train.
This exciting and adrenaline-boosting tour will take you through the waves of a river about six feet high and its Class IV rapids. With a rapid movement down the wild and unbridled part of the Padas River, you will feel part of a completely untouched virgin nature. The tour covers a distance of 9 km along the river with a total length of 200 km, including 7 exciting steep rapids!
After rafting, enjoy a luxurious barbecue on the river bank.
For your safety, the instructor will explain the safety rules and demonstrate the principles and techniques of river descent and proper use of special equipment before the descent begins.
