Putra Bridge

Putrajaya, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya, Malaysia

Description:

Putra Bridge is the main bridge in Putrajaya, Malaysia, as it connects the Government Zone of the city with the Mixed Development Zone. The length of this bridge is 435 meters, it consists of concrete. The upper level of the bridge continues the pavement, cars and monorail trains can pass through the lower levels. The idea of such a bridge was inspired by Muslim architecture, namely the beautiful Haju Bridge in the Iranian city of Isfahan.

A special highlight of the Putra Bridge is given by symmetrically located four bulls, made in the form of minarets, with observation platforms overlooking the picturesque Lake Putrajaya. In the supports of the bridge there are cozy restaurants with various kitchens and boat berths for the convenience of visitors.
