Museum of Islamic Art Malaysia

Jalan Lembah Perdana, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

About the company:

The Museum of Islamic Art is located in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and includes several themed galleries.

One gallery is entirely devoted to the architecture of Islam. Here are miniatures of the mosque named after Imam Ismail Albukhari, the mausoleum of Timur Amir and even the world famous Taj Mahal.

All galleries present unique historical artifacts. They were found in Syria and Turkey. Many of them remain from the time of the ancient Ottoman Empire. In the Galleries of Manuscripts and the Qur’an, you can see a whole collection of Islamic manuscripts.

From the outside, the building looks very presentable. The museum can easily be confused with the mosque.
