Ifran National Park lies on the territory of the Middle Atlas - a mountain range in Morocco, part of the Atlas Mountains system. For most people, Morocco is a sultry and hot country, with a solid desert and rare gardens. Their opinion completely changes after visiting Ifran Park, which in winter becomes an excellent base for skiing.
Ifran is the main reservoir of drinking water in Morocco. In its cedar groves and forests of Mediterranean oak nest more than 200 species of birds. There are many species of fauna, including rare Berber macaques.
Today, Ifran is most reminiscent of a Swiss village, with its straight streets, built-up European houses, many restaurants, shops and nightclubs.
