Rif Mountains

Stretching an arc between the sea and the Atlas, the Rif mountain range offers many opportunities for hikers. Routes here are relatively simple, but, nevertheless, are not trodden. Although Al-Rif is close to Tangier and Tetouan, it is still away from the main tourist routes. This is a very interesting destination for travelers looking for the unusual. The highest peaks of the chain rarely exceed 2,000 meters. In the region there is a coastal strip 120 kilometers long, stretching from the bed of the Lau River to Cape Jebha. The starting point of routes is usually Chefchaouen.
