Papagayo Park

Papagayo Park has a second name – Ignacio Manuel Altamirano Park. This is a huge nature reserve, where you can relax and do tourism. It is located in the southern part of Mexico. Papagayo Park occupies an area of two hundred and eighteen thousand square kilometers.

On this square there are small houses, three artificially created ponds, several hundred species of various exotic plants and trees. There are also rare birds in Papagayo Park. Walking through its territory, tourists can see white herons, toucans, flamingos. In total, more than two thousand individuals live here.

For their life, the specialists of the park created all the necessary conditions similar to those in which they live in natural nature.

There is also a small skating rink, a sports ground, a playground for children and a library.

There are several sculptures in Papagayo Park. Some are dedicated to Mexican composers and presidents.
